School’s Programme

• Story reading.
• Exploring creativity – having fun-v-perfection! Lubna Gem Arielle shows the class the development of the book illustrations from rudimentary sketches and shares the inspiration for the story. She and the teacher then facilitate a discussion with the children on trying and having fun rather than any expectation of “artistic genius”.
• Making individual butterflies for a collaborative school room butterfly garden.
• Butterfly Dance.

Lubna Gem Arielle is available for readings / signings at bookshops and libraries as from the anticipated first publication of Anya and the Purple Butterfly in book format in Summer 2009.
